In this role, you’ll take the lead in:
Firmware Development: Write and maintain embedded code (in C/C++ or similar languages) for microcontrollers and real-time systems that control tamper detection functionality.
Hardware Integration: Interface with sensor circuits, manage hardware peripherals, and integrate with Electronic Engineers’ designs to achieve precise measurement of electrical properties.
Performance Optimization: Optimize embedded software for speed, power efficiency, and reliability under security-critical conditions.
Rapid Prototyping: Work in an agile environment to quickly iterate, test, and deploy firmware updates alongside evolving hardware designs.
Collaboration: Engage in design reviews and coordinate with hardware teams to enhance overall system performance and security.
■ Ideal Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Proficiency in C/C++ or similar programming with a solid understanding of microcontrollers and embedded system architectures.
Experience in firmware development and real-time systems.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a passion for pushing technical boundaries.
Bonus: Familiar with circuit design and PCB layout, basic mechanical design in CAD, secure hardware design and tamper-detection concepts.
